The
procedure
They2F are
fast.
The root for fast is (سَرِيعٌ).
The root is always 1M 3rd person.
Step
1:
Use rule 230 to convert the noun into the appropriate
form. For example, rule 230 will tell
you how to convert the root (سَرِيعٌ) into a duel female noun third person (سَرِيعَتَانِ). You add female Ta’a followed by Alif-Noon.
Step
2:
Use Rule 610 to select the appropriate pronoun. For example, for a duel female
third person, the pronoun (هُمَا)
is found in row 13, column 3, i.e. Rule 610- (R12,C3).
Step
3:
Check Surf, rule 280, 285. No need to check Surf for 2M, 2F, 3+M or words that
start with Alif-Lam. If the word starts with Alif-Lam, then no Tanween is
allowed. Check rule 530 for the restrictions on noun sentences regarding Alif-Lam and Tanween. The word سَرِيعَتَانِ
is
duel so no need to check Surf. But the word سَرِيع
we
need to check it against rule 280, we find that Surf is allowed for the word سَرِيعٌ.
Step
4:
Check the Irab of the noun. According to rule 530,
the Khabar is Marfoo^. In the example above, the word
“سَرِيعٌ
fast”
is Khabar, and Khabar is Marfoo^.
Step
5:
Go to table 285 to find out in (4,4) that the marfoo^
for duel nouns has Alif -Noon not Ya’a-noon,
i.e. سَرِيعَتَانِ
not
سَرِيعَتَينِ.
.
Step 6: Assemble the words together to get a noun sentence. (هُمَا سَرِيعَتَانِ)

3.
Find the subject noun and
use Rule 1040 to find the Irab of the noun. Then use
Rule 290 to pick the correct form. Then use Rule 285 to check if you need Tanwin or not. Then use Rule 280 to check the Surf.
4.

Procedure to follow:
· We will be using the following example: They3+M harvested the
crops
1. Using rule 610, row 14, column 3, (610,14,3), They3+M is “هُمْ”
2. Using Arabic-English dictionary, the word “harvested” is “حَصَدَ”, which is the root of the past tense verb. Note that the root of
the past tense verb is for “He”. (1130, 10, 3), shows the root of the verb,
which is “فَعَلَ”.
3. The equivalent of “حَصَدَ” is “فَعَلَ”.
4. (1130, 14, 3) shows that the past tense of “They3+M” is “فَعَلُوا”, the equivalent is “حَصَدُوا”.
5. Using Arabic-English dictionary, the word “the crops” is “الْمَحْصُولَ”
6. Combining the words together gives “الْمَحْصُولَ حَصَدُوا هُم”
· The following procedure is how to convert the singular noun into the
proper gender and count. For example, to change nouns from single form into the
desired form you do:
1. Rule 230-1 All male dual nouns are made of the single noun then adding
to the end either Alif Noon ( اَنِ
), if Marfo^, or Ya’a Noon
( يِنِ
), if Mansoob or Majror.
2. Rule 230-2 All male dual nouns are made of the single noun then convert
the female Ta’a into open Ta’a,
then adding to the end either Alif Noon ( تَانِ ), if Marfo^, or Ya’a
Noon (تَيَنِ),
if Mansoob or Majror.
3. Rule 240-1: Regular male plural nouns are made of the singular form with
either Waw Noon ( وُنَ ), if Marfo^, or Ya’a
Noon ( يِنَ
), if Mansob or Majror,
added to the end
4. Rule 240-2: The regular female plural is made by replacing the female Ta’a with Alif-Ta’a (ات)
