We want to translate “They2F are fast” to Arabic.
Step
1:
Use rule 230 to convert the
noun into the appropriate form. For example, rule 230 will tell you how to convert the root (سَرِيعٌ)
into a duel female noun (سَرِيعَتَانِ).
Step
2:
Use Rule 610 to select the appropriate pronoun. For example, for a duel female
third person, the pronoun (هُمَا)
is found in row 12, column 3, i.e. (12,3).
Step
3:
Check if we need Tanween on the noun using rule 250.
For example, rule 250-3 tells you that no tanween on
duel nouns.
Step
4:
Check the Irab of the noun. According to rule 530,
the Khabar is Marfoo^. In the example above, the word
“fast” is Khabar, and Khabar is Marfoo^.
Step
5:
Then we go into table 280 to find out in (4,4) that the marfoo^
for duel nouns has Alif not Ya’a,
i.e. سَرِيعَتَانِ not سَرِيعَتَينِ.
Step
6:
Assemble the words together to get a sentence. (هُمَا
سَرِيعَتَانِ).
Same
steps apply to all other cases, which are I, We, You, She, He, They.

Rule
1240: To convert from passive voice to active voice do the
following:
1.
The object replaces the subject in the
passive voice verb sentence.
2.
The form of the verb is changed to match
the object instead of the subject, for example if the subject is male and the
object is female, then the verb form is changed to female.
3.
Change the object to Marfo^
instead of Mansob. Rule 280 should be used to do this
conversion.
4.
Change the verb from active voice to
passive voice using
rule 1230. For example, the verb “يَفْعَلٌ” become “يُفْعَلٌ”.
